Intel and Bay Area Firms Announce Layoffs Intel与湾区企业裁员

Following Trump’s announcement of a 10% U.S. stake in Intel, the company filed WARN notices to cut nearly 200 jobs in California — 98 in Santa Clara and 83 in Folsom. Since 2023, Intel has announced 2,461 Bay Area layoffs.
Other firms followed: Alameda-based biotech Exelixis will cut 71 jobs, while San Leandro logistics provider Web to Door will eliminate 192 positions across Richmond, Milpitas, and Oakland, with facility closures planned.
